Happy Wednesday! I think today is the first day it finally feels like fall in St. Louis. Unfortunately, it won’t last long. It’s going to be 88 degrees again on Saturday, gross! This weekend we are heading up to the campground where my parents have their camper. They are throwing a huge Halloween festival with pumpkin carving contests, chili cook off, trick or treating and a haunted hayride! I’m excited to put my costume together and share with you all! I realized that I have never done a post about workwear, and decided that it was time! I luckily have a very casual job where we can wear yoga and sweatpants to work. That is one of the huge perks of my job! If I’m feeling extremely tired and don’t feel like dressing up, I can throw on a pair of workout pants and a sweatshirt and run out the door (after grabbing my coffee of course 😉 ). But I know a lot of you don’t have that option and are required to wear something a bit more business casual, so this post is for you!

I absolutely love this top for work! This exact one is sold out, but I tagged two similar ones! This one is my absolute favorite, and I have it in black! It’s on sale right now for $32! Of course if you want to hide your arms a bit more, you can throw a blazer over it.

I still love wearing white pants all year round (you can read my post about wearing white after Labor Day HERE). But of course you can always add black or gray ones to feel a bit more business casual!

This is the perfect bag for work! It holds so much, while looking the business part! This exact one is sold out, but I tagged a similar Kate Spade one! It even comes in black!

These shoes are perfect for warmer days, but once it starts getting cold you may want to wear a pair that covers your toes. I love these pumps!

What’s In My Bag: Work Edition




Happy Monday! This weekend is a three day weekend for me, so I get to relax today! Much. Needed. Especially since I plan on working overtime this week. Needing a new car = needing more money. Haha! I decided to do a post showing you what I keep in my bag for work, especially during overtime weeks. I showed you what I keep in my smaller bag in this post.

Bag: This Kate Spade bag I found at the St. Louis Premium Outlets! This is seriously one of my favorite places to shop. You can find so many great deals! I found this tote for under $100 (such a great deal!) This size is perfect to hold anything you may need for work, including your lunch. This bag also reminds me of the LV Neverfull, but at a way more affordable price! I tagged a similar Kate Spade bag, since I can’t seem to find the exact one online. Just check your local Simon Premium Outlets for it!

Makeup: I carry a few makeup products with me that I may need for touchups throughout the day. I always carry two different lipsticks in case I need a more nude one, or if I plan on going out after work, I can throw on a dark or bright one. I always have my Too Faced Melted lipstick and my YSL lipstick with me. I always keep my YSL Blur Perfecter with me to use as a mirror and to use on my face once it starts to get oily.

Planner: My boyfriend bought me this planner for my birthday and I absolutely love it! I carry it around with me everywhere. I also always carry around a pen and pencil so I can write dates down in my planner on the go. I found these in the Target dollar section!

Sunglasses: I always carry my sunglasses with me. My eyes are very sensitive to the sun, so I always keep a pair in my bag. I found these sunglasses on Amazon for under $15! I can’t seem to find them on the website any longer, so I tagged a similar pair.

Wallet: I love carrying a larger wallet when I have a larger bag. I have so many cards that I can’t seem to fit them in a small wallet. I got this one at Target a few years ago, so I tagged a similar one.

Card Case: I use my Coach Card Case to hold my business cards. I just throw a few of them in each opening, and it works out perfectly in case I ever need to give one of them out to someone. I also found this card case at the St. Louis Premium Outlets (for under $20!), but it was a couple years ago, so I tagged a similar card case.

Cosmetic Bag: I keep all of my makeup, hand lotion, chapstick, and hand sanitizer in a cosmetic bag so It’s easier to find everything. I hate having to dig through a large bag, trying to find a small item, so cosmetic bags really help to organize larger bags.

Key Chain: I love poof ball key chains! They are so adorable and a huge trend right now. I always keep one on my keys and add one to my bags. You can find the red one I have on my bag here.

Happy Friday! I’m so glad it’s finally the weekend, I have been so tired this week! What are your plans for the weekend? My boyfriend and I are going to the St. Louis Auto Show! We are going to check out all the new cars, hoping to eventually get a new one. My car is so old, she’s not going to last much longer! Gift Guide: Mom

Ladies, Christmas is a little over 1 week away! So crazy to think about that. I feel like this year has flown by. Sadly, this weekend I am going to start AND finish my Christmas shopping… so bad I know. Luckily there are a lot of sales going on! It’s just going to be SUPER crowded. Wish me luck! Haha. I’m going to head to a few places this morning before it gets super crowded, then again tonight with my mom. Her and I always do a little Christmas shopping together for my boyfriend and my dad. I love our little shopping dates! It usually includes Bread Co (Panera if you aren’t from St. Louis) and Starbucks.

Today I’m rounding up some of my favorite items to gift your mom on Christmas! I always try to get nice things for my parents on Christmas. Both of them were very hard working when I was little. My dad worked the midnight shift, and my mom worked 8 hours then had to take care of us after school, which included soccer practice, basketball practice, girl scouts, etc. None of them really had a break. This is a way for me to really show my appreciation towards them for everything they did for my sister and I when we were little. You can find the gift guide for your dad HERE.

One of my favorite items on this list is the MacKenzie Childs tea pot! This is perfect for my mom, she likes to collect tea pots, and this one is so cute! It reminds me of Alice In Wonderland (one of my favorite books/movies). Something my mom always loved receiving is a picture frame with a family picture. Our family doesn’t have a lot of pictures of the four of us, so this really means a lot to her.

Right now Neiman Marcus is having a friends and family sale, so you can get this Viktor & Rolf perfume (I have this and it smells amazing!) and Kendra Scott necklace for 20% off with code FRIENDME. This is the first time they are having this sale!

I really love to get my mom cozy things to help her relax after work, like this robe from Kate Spade and this Pier 1 Imports blanket! I have a faux fur blanket very similar to this, and it’s so warm and cozy! I also love giving her some of her favorite shower gels and lotions. This one from Philosophy smells so good!

2016 Agendas

Happy Wednesday! Is it the weekend yet? I know most of you are thinking “why is she talking about agendas in the middle of the year?” Well it seems like most agendas are now starting at the end of July/beginning of August (mostly because school starts back up in August). I just bought a 2016 Agenda from (linked HERE), and the first day to use it starts July 27th (can it just get here already!), so I thought what better time to have a blog post all about agendas!

Even though I’m no longer in college, I still use an agenda to organize my life and my blog. It helps me keep track of bills due, appointments, my favorite shows, and my blog posts! It’s an easy way to stay organized and make sure those bills are paid on time.

I have linked a few of my favorite agendas below (all under $40):

The agendas (1, 3, 4) come in two different sizes, large and medium. The medium one is book bound and perfect to carry around in your purse. The back of the agenda has a little pocket to store stuff. It even includes stickers!

The Kate Spade agendas (5, 6) also come in two different sizes and have cute quotes and sayings in them!

The Lily Pulitzer and Rifle Paper Co agendas (2, 7) have cute prints on the front cover!
