Happy Tuesday! I feel like I haven’t posted anything in a long time. I guess life just gets in the way sometimes. I have so much to catch up with you guys on!:

  1. The PSL will be coming out on August 28th!!! I really hope they have an early release date for Gold Card holders. Need one ASAP.
  2. Did you watch the VMAs last night? The Hills is coming back!!!!!! I seriously cannot wait. I know it won’t be the same without LC, but at least Whitney will be in it!
  3. I already bought some Halloween/Fall decor and put it up. #sorrynotsorry Fall is so close!
  4. I’ll be in Beloit, WI next week for work! Any recommendations?
  5. Did I mention it’s almost Fall? It’s seriously my favorite season.

To celebrate the end of summer, this week and next week I’ll be sharing outfits that will transition you from summer to fall. This week I’m sharing one of my favorite rompers! I’m sure you’re asking yourself “how can I make this a fall outfit?”. Easy! Just take away the wedges, and add booties and a jean jacket! You can even add a leather jacket for cooler nights.

I bought these pieces over a month ago, so most of them are sold out. I tagged similar options above. If you want more romper options, just click here to see my favorites! If you want more clutch options, I rounded up the best ones here! All items are under $50.

Are you as excited for fall as I am? Let me know in the comments your favorite fall activity!

Thanks for reading!

Happy Monday! Last week was such a crazy week for me. On the Fourth of July I had about 25 total people come by my place for a BBQ (it was the first time we had this many people in our little apartment). I was SO worn out and for some reason I thought it was a good idea to work overtime everyday…Let’s just say I’m excited for this week to go back to normal (even though it’s going to be almost 100 degrees this week in St. Louis).

The weather here in St. Louis is always so up and down. One week it will be 70 degrees, and the next 100 degrees. For those weeks that are 70 degrees, I love pairing my favorite shorts with some sort of light weight cardigan (especially for the cold office at work). This pineapple cardigan from Target has been on major repeat this summer. In this look, I paired it with white shorts, a basic black tee, black booties, and a tassel necklace. I found this cardigan in store, and have yet to find it online since I posted it last, so I’m linking another option.

Have a great week everyone, and stay cool during this scorcher!

Printed Shorts

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a pretty busy weekend, but I enjoyed it. Why does Monday have to come so fast?

This summer I am obsessed with printed shorts. Not only are they comfortable, but you can dress them up or down! I made this look casual by adding a printed Jetset tee, a pair of gray booties and a necklace I received in my Rockbox.

My shorts are old and the shirt is sold out, so I linked similar items below (including shorts that are only $8!). My necklace is from http://www.rocksbox.com. If you don’t know what Rocksbox is, it’s a monthly subscription of $19 a month. You receive 3 pieces of designer jewelry that you can wear as much and long as you want, then send back to get new pieces. If you fall in love with them, you have the option to buy one or all at a discounted price. Each month Rocksbox gives you $10 to spend on jewelry.

Rocksbox chose me to be one of their “It Girls” and gave me a code for my readers to use to get their first month free! Just use promo code VALERIEBFF89 when signing up! Once you sign up and get your first box, tag me so I can see what you all received 🙂
